The term “freshie” is thrown around haphazardly when citrus is present in a fragrance but very few actually convey the definition of FRESHNESS and are merely a standard fragrance with nuances of citrus accords. However, sometimes with the right ingredients and accord composition the mark isnt just hit it’s engulfed. We begin with lemons, oranges and mandarins hand plucked from robust ripe wild trees in Sicily, then the perfect bergamot from the mountainous beaches of Calabria is sourced, and then freshness starts. Next the tang of a juicy pineapple and the zing of fresh ginger is added…now, we’re getting somewhere. A clean almost soapy feel washes over the intoxicating elixir with orange blossom and petitgrain. A clean, aromatic spice is taking over with a fragrant basil to balance the citrus colada of the opening. A smooth but lasting base of Hatian vetiver, ambergris and vanilla is there to provide the longevity while maintaining the ever important freshness above all. The final signature from the master perfumer is the famous Dua white musk that provides lift and a final clean wash to the magnificent base. Some claim Fresh, but this is Eau So Fraiche!
